Job Description
New Directions are working with a large secondary school in Leeds that are looking for a ex experienced teacher or Maths to join them from February 2026 for the rest of the academic year.
The successful candidate will be required to plan, teach, and mark from KS3, KS4 to KS5 and will also be required to attend parents’ evenings and staff meetings, and fully integrate themselves into the maths and wider staff team.
We are looking for candidates who have the ability to deliver engaging lesson plans to a wide range of ability levels and can support the school with it’s short and long term ambitions to improve student outcomes.
The role:
1. Plan, deliver and mark student work from KS3 – KS5
2. Ensure all students are supported based on their level of ability
3. Manage classroom behaviour and follow school behaviour policies
4. Follow child safeguarding policies to ensure that all students are protected
5. Integrate full into the maths department and work as part of a team
