Role: Accounts Assistant Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Full time office based Contract: Permanent Location: Haslemere, Surrey Main Duties for the Accounts Assistant: * Verify, code, and process invoices accurately. * Execute payments through BACS and cheque methods. * Handle the processing of staff expenses efficiently. * Establish and maintain supplier accounts, while updating account information as needed. * Conduct reconciliation of supplier statements and company bank statements. * Organise and maintain invoice filing systems. * Supervise petty cash management procedures. * Perform data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail. * Act as the primary point of contact for relevant inquiries. * Foster and maintain positive relationships with both customers and suppliers. * Assess and enhance existing systems and processes for greater efficiency. * Undertake general office administrative duties including telephone management, message taking, filing, and mail handling.
