Due to the promotion of the current post holder, the Governors of St Hilda’s wish to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated School Business Manager to start after the May half term. The successful candidate will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic direction for the school in a number of key areas.
This role is multi-faceted and has significant responsibilities, including, but not limited to managing a school budget, manging health and safety across school, line managing support staff, and producing reports for the Local Authority, Head teacher and Governing Board.
The successful candidate will be:

Professional, positive and proactive, forming good relationships with all stakeholders
Experienced at managing all aspects of school business, finance and resources
Skilled at managing school HR systems and people
Ability to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness
St Hilda’s is a friendly school with a dedicated and supportive team of professionals. It is a Christian school at the heart of the community in Prestwich, with enthusiastic pupils who are eager and ready to learn.
The hours of work are 35 hours per week 9am-4.30pm, term time only plus 10 days to be worked during periods of school closure, in accordance with service requirements.
The salary is £29,257 - £31,577 per annum.
