Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Social Work Assistant start a new role in Leeds. This is a full time contract initially for 3 – 6 months with the view of extending, paying £16.81 an hour.
A Children’s Social Work Assistant is required to support the area teams with all aspects of child and family social work. You will help with supervision of Family Time, transporting children, supporting with practical tasks such as identifying an referring for support, budgeting and parents support.
Responsibilities:
* Contacting clients and setting up appointments
* Carrying out routine visits to assess people’s needs
* Escorting clients
* Arranging and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
* Raising with other agencies and following up enquiries.
Applicant Requirements:
* Experience : At least two years’ experience of working with the client group in a paid capacity
* Compliance: Enhanced Childrens DBS, Right to Work in the UK
* Hours: 37 hours a week, office based
* Travel: Full UK driving license and access to a car
