To oversee and carry out the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of all materials.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in running or managing a stores operation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate stock control and smooth work flowthroughout the goods in and goods out process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming goods and materials.
* Ensure all deliveries are checked against purchase orders and recorded accurately in the inventory system (Simpro)
* Organise and store materials in the correct locations, maintaining clear labelling and stock rotation practices.
* Pick, pack, label up and prepare outgoing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* Ensure the returns process is followed correctly and promptly.
* Complete regular cycle counts of stock.
* Liaise with procurement.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives for stock control, storage layout, and process efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Experience running or managing stores / warehouse operations, including both goods in and goods out processes.
