We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive and GOOD Ofsted-rated primary school in Coventry. The Role As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across Early Years and Key Stage 1/2. Your responsibilities will include: * Supporting learning in class and helping children access lesson activities * Providing 1:1 and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs * Helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing classroom environment * Assisting with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy activities * Supporting children’s social, emotional and behavioural development * Helping to prepare learning resources and activities * Assisting with general classroom duties and administrative tasks About You We are looking for someone who is: * Experienced working with young children (school or childcare experience preferred but not essential) * Kind, patient, nurturing and able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils * Confident communicating with staff, pupils and parents * Creative, proactive and able to work well as part of a collaborative team * Dedicated to helping children thrive and overcome barriers to learning Why Join Us?
