The Opportunity
Worldline’s MeTS Division provides end-to-end digital services with technology products, data, and expertise to address customer challenges and priorities. We support digital transformation through innovative solutions, leveraging our products and sharing expertise across sectors. The Trusted Services Pillar within MeTS focuses on designing and operating solutions to support clients' digital transformation, delivering secure digital services for customers and citizens.

We are seeking an experienced business development and sales professional for the UK&I Sales and Business Development team, focusing on public sector markets. The role involves stakeholder engagement, solution sales, and driving new business, with a proven track record in similar markets such as France, Spain, and Germany. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to identify, qualify, and close opportunities, presenting Worldline’s solutions effectively to the market.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Drive a culture of growth by generating new business opportunities.
* Develop and convert prospecting databases into a profitable pipeline.
* Collaborate within a matrixed team to produce high-quality proposals.
* Influence customer needs and partner decisions.
* Build strong relationships across management levels and functions.
* Engage with European senior management to support client relationships and sales pursuits.
* Identify cross-functional opportunities with other sales teams.
* Develop strategic client relationships for long-term growth.
* Maintain knowledge of client environments and market trends to inform product development and marketing.
* Monitor competitor landscape and industry trends in UK&I.
* Facilitate easier business interactions with Worldline.

Skills We Can’t Do Without
* Experience in solutions sales within enterprise/public sector markets, with proven results.
* Experience managing public sector tenders and complex RfPs.
* Proven ability to prospect, convert, and close new business.
* Experience tailoring proposals to customer needs.
* Ability to influence and shape solutions addressing customer challenges.
* Structured sales and business development planning skills, with market analysis experience.
* Proven success in building pipelines and closing deals.
* Extensive sector knowledge and a track record of closing deals.
Skills We’d Like
* Experience working within complex, matrix organizations and presenting to C-suite stakeholders.
* Experience executing go-to-market strategies in the UK for European-developed products.
* Strong financial management understanding, including budgets, P&Ls, and ROI analysis.
