We are a town centre, retail park and digital footwear retailer, offering low price and high‑quality footwear for the whole family, with free next‑day delivery on all orders, seven days a week. We operate from 270 stores and serve approximately 2,100 employees across the UK. Our store portfolio consists of 61 town centre stores, 162 hybrid town centre stores and 45 larger retail park stores.
The Store Manager Role
As a Store Manager you will have the responsibility for the running of your store. You will be a hands‑on individual who leads from the front in a role that can be challenging and demanding, focusing ultimately on maximising sales through local knowledge, exceeding budget targets, efficient cost‑controlling, promoting the best customer service and looking for opportunities to lead, motivate, develop and inspire your team.
Key Duties And Responsibilities Of Our Store Manager
* Directly responsible for achieving optimum sales through commerciality, ensuring excellent customer service is provided by your team in a fast‑paced environment.
* Actively support, develop and mentor your team of colleagues to ensure store standards are high and that the best customer experience is offered, ensuring repeat custom.
* Take ownership of the store by consistently maintaining store standards and commerciality, merchandising to marketing guidelines and maintaining high general housekeeping standards.
* Provide a safe environment for your team and customers by implementing current health and safety policies.
