The Ideal Mental Health Support Assistant:
The successful Mental Health Support Assistant will have some experience working with children. Experience working with vulnerable children or children who have additional needs will be advantageous. The successful candidate will be patient and keen to make a difference in these children's lives. You will be resilient and compassionate and be able to facilitate a fun and engaging learning environment for the students.
It is essential that you are proactive and able to take initiative, as many of the children in this school have personalized and tailored educational plans and you will need to change your approach to match the needs of the child you will be directly supporting.
