Are you looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs? We’re seeking compassionate, proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to support students aged 3–19 in a range of specialist settings across Yeovil. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available from September 2025, with the option to start earlier. These highly regarded settings offer tailored education to pupils with a wide variety of needs, including autism, complex learning difficulties, communication challenges, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Each setting is deeply committed to nurturing both academic progress and emotional wellbeing, providing structured, supportive, and inspiring environments for students and staff alike. What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting students in primary or secondary phases with SEN or SEMH needs Assisting in the delivery of personalised learning plans Promoting independence, self-regulation, and social development Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff Encouraging engagement through creative, inclusive strategies Creating a safe, calm, and positive classroom environment What We’re Looking For: Experience in SEN, SEMH, care work, or youth support is desirable A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach A team player who’s flexible and committed to inclusive education A passion for making a lasting impact on young lives Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
