Executive Assistant | National Governing Body | Midlands | £32,000
We are partnering with a well-established National Governing Body for an Olympic and Paralympic sport to recruit an Executive Assistant to join their team at their head office in the West Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role at the heart of a respected sporting organisation, providing comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team, while also acting as secretariat to the Board of Directors.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for the smooth running of executive administration across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing correspondence, diary commitments, and communications on behalf of the CEO
* Acting as secretariat to the Board, including preparing agendas, collating papers, taking minutes, and maintaining action logs
* Supporting HR administration processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and management of confidential information
* Assisting with governance administration, including Director elections and volunteer records
* Coordinating travel, accommodation, and event logistics
* Managing office administration including rotas, leave monitoring, and meeting coordination
The Person
We are looking for a highly organised professional with a proven track record of providing executive-level support in a fast-paced environment. You will bring:
* Demonstrable experience supporting senior leaders or a Board in a similar EA or PA capacity
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high standards of minute taking
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
* Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
Experience within sport, the charitable sector, or a not-for-profit environment would be advantageous, as would a genuine interest in sport, though neither is essential.

* Salary: up to £32,000, subject to experience
