We are seeking a full-time, passionate, and enthusiastic Clinical Service Manager to join our dedicated, experienced, and growing team of professionals. Caudwell Children aims to change people's lives, societal perceptions and treatments of disabled and autistic individuals, and how charities operate, through child-centred practical and emotional services, passionate campaigning, and demonstrating best practices. Main duties of the job

* Provide operational leadership for Caudwell Children's Autism Service, ensuring effective clinical and operational management in partnership with the COO and Governance Lead, collaborating with discipline leads.
* Work with the COO and Governance Lead to deliver quality and performance improvements, develop service strategy, and grow the business.
* Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop and achieve strategic goals for CCAS services, participating in business planning.
* Act as Safeguarding Lead for Caudwell Children.
* Improve quality and outcomes through clinical audits and service evaluation.
* Engage with external organisations to develop shared goals and improve services.
* Manage the Family Support Team and supervise discipline leads.
* Lead autism assessments for young people aged 4-11.

Job responsibilities

Job Title: Clinical Service Manager

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Location: Keele, Staffordshire, with remote work opportunities


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage clinical and operational aspects of the Autism Service.
* Develop and implement service strategies and improvements.
* Ensure compliance with governance, safeguarding, and health and safety standards.
* Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and training to staff.
* Manage referrals, caseloads, and team performance.
* Participate in service development and quality assurance activities.


Education and Professional Practice

* Supervise staff adherence to professional and ethical standards.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
* Contribute to training and education initiatives.


Customer Care / Quality Assurance

* Ensure high-quality, individualised care for children and families.
* Handle complaints and feedback effectively.
* Maintain confidentiality and data protection compliance.
* Promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.


Person Specification


Qualifications

* ENMC or HCPC Registered


Experience

* Assessment and diagnosis of Autism
* Leadership and management in healthcare
* Experience in neurodevelopmental services and service development


Other

This position requires a DBS check in accordance with legal requirements.
