As the first point of contact for our diverse school community, you will provide a warm welcome while maintaining the highest standards of office efficiency and safeguarding.

* Location: St. Albans (Easy access via M25, A414, and Thameslink)
* Salary: £25,500 – £28,500 (Pro-rata, Hertfordshire County Council scale)
* Contract: Permanent, Term-time only
* Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday
Detailed Responsibilities
* Front-of-House: Greeting visitors, parents, and contractors, ensuring all safeguarding ID checks are performed and visitor passes are issued via our digital system.
* Communication Management: Operating a busy switchboard with a calm, professional tone and managing the school’s central email inbox to ensure queries are routed to the correct staff members.
* Student Services: Supporting students with daily inquiries, managing late arrivals, and assisting with the distribution of forgotten items or medications in line with school policy.
* Office Administration: Providing clerical support to the Senior Leadership Team, including drafting letters, updating the school website, and maintaining accurate student files on SIMS/Arbor.
