We’re looking for an Interim EMEA Tax Accountant to join a large international business supporting tax compliance across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. This is a hands‑on role working closely with the Senior Tax Manager and wider finance teams across the region.
Key responsibilities
* Manage corporate tax, VAT and employment tax compliance across EMEA
* Prepare tax reporting and support statutory accounts and audits
* Ensure timely and accurate tax filings across multiple countries
* Support VAT/TOMS calculations and indirect tax compliance
* Assist with tax risk, HMRC queries and process improvements
* Work with finance teams to improve controls and reporting
What we’re looking for
* ACA or CTA qualified (0–3 years’ PQE)
* Good Excel skills and attention to detail
* Confident working across multiple countries and teams
* Experience in in‑house or practice tax roles
