Senior Lead Consultant – ADP GlobalView

We are hiring a Senior Lead Consultant!

Functional payroll resource driving client projects (configuration, testing, etc); strong client consultation skills, focus on delivering quality; continuous learning environment; training/mentoring others, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.


Position Description

The primary focus is to align with the Client Product Owner/Client SME on specific requirements documented through User Stories to meet business needs. The Lead Consultant designs, builds and validates client requirements, executes testing leveraging client data, and liaises with the Client Product Owner on testing results. They will work with the Client Product Owner to resolve issues and escalations throughout the implementation process.

The Senior Lead Consultant provides coaching and mentoring to all team members and aligns with the Communities of Practice for knowledge development across the organization. They are integral members of an Agile Team, sharing responsibilities for overall team performance, and are expected to work on multiple client projects within the same timelines/go‑live dates. The Senior Lead Consultant reports to the Agile Team Lead or Business Owner/Implementation Director.


Responsibilities

* Implement the client’s solution using ADP’s Implementation Methodology and the ADP GlobalView product (based on SAP/Kronos/Workforce Manager).
* Lead blueprinting workshops to gather information on the client’s requirements.
* Design and document the client’s solution, including business requirements and program specifications per ADP guidance.
* Consult with clients during the data cleansing, mapping and conversion phase, providing assistance including reconciliation.
* Support clients through User Acceptance, Parallel Testing and Go‑Live phases to ensure a successful go‑live.
* Take ownership of gaps between client requirements and the ADP GV template, working with other GV streams/areas to resolve them.
* Perform Quality Assurance reviews of blueprints and system configuration.
* Identify and manage risk at project level.
* Lead Implementation Team forums, contribute to and participate in knowledge sharing and team development sessions.
* Act as a mentor and support fellow team members in developing their skills.
* Provide relevant training and knowledge sharing opportunities, including informal on‑the‑job training and facilitating formal SAP training courses.
* Liaise with the ADP Project Manager/Agile Team Lead and Line Manager, providing regular status updates and early warning of any slippage or problems.
* Support the pre‑sales process, including analysis and answers for technical documentation, demonstrations and workshops where specialist payroll knowledge is required.
* Liaise with the Product Manager to provide feedback on templates and understand future product direction/changes.
* Assist the Product Manager & Project teams to design any non‑standard changes to the ADP GlobalView template.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications Required

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and experience.
* Experience with SAP Payroll or Kronos/Workforce Manager configuration in one or more countries.
* Configuration knowledge/consulting skills for at least two applicable SAP functional areas.
* UK and Irish payroll experience.
* Solid functional and blueprinting knowledge.
* 10%–25% travel.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Ability to work on multiple client projects simultaneously.
* Proven ability to lead multi‑country HR/Payroll implementations annually.
* Professional manner and presentation, able to manage and satisfy customer expectations.
* Teamwork and collaboration skills for business results.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Analytical thinking/problem‑solving skills, systematic and logical problem resolution.
* Consulting skills to understand business requirements and map to ADP templates, minimizing risk.
* Knowledge and application of methodologies used by the Implementation team.
* Prioritization and time‑management skills; ability to work across projects and lead a consultants team.
* Strong knowledge of one or more Payroll, HR, Portal or Time Management SAP modules.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio for documentation and training.
* Client‑focused approach, meeting and exceeding client needs.
* Good business process knowledge of the SAP or Kronos module being implemented.
