HR / Admin Officer – Primary School (Harrow)
ASAP Start | Maternity Cover | £110–£120 per day (via umbrella)

Are you an organised, proactive administrator with experience in HR or school support? We’re working with a lovely primary school in Harrow who are seeking a dedicated HR/Admin Officer to join their friendly office team for a maternity cover position starting as soon as possible.

The Role

As the school’s HR and Administration Officer, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the office and provide vital support to the school leadership team. Your duties will include:

1. Managing staff records, recruitment paperwork, and pre-employment checks
2. Supporting with payroll and HR queries
3. Handling day-to-day administrative tasks and front-office duties
4. Liaising with parents, staff, and external agencies professionally and confidentially
5. Ensuring all safeguarding and compliance procedures are up to date

Working Hours

6. Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
7. One day per week: 7:30am – 4:00pm

About You

You’ll be:

8. Experienced in a school office or HR setting (SIMS or similar MIS experience desirable)
9. Confident handling confidential information
10. Highly organised with great communication skills
11. Able to work efficiently in a busy environment and meet deadlines
