One of our current projects requires deep expertise in Android (Kotlin). While we take on diverse projects across various stacks, your immediate priority will be owning and architecting a performance-critical mobile data collection ecosystem.
This is a \"many hats\" role: one morning you might be designing a system architecture, and that afternoon you might be building a slide deck for a client pitch or debugging a Docker deployment.
What You’ll Do
* Architect & Build (Kotlin focus): Take full ownership of our high-performance Android data collection app. Expert-level Kotlin is essential here.
* Technical Decision Making: Choose the right tool for the job. You have the autonomy to implement new technologies for future projects.
* Technical Leadership: Act as an architect for our system ecosystems and mentor the wider team.
* Mission-Driven Delivery: Lead the charge during project \"crunch\" periods. You are the kind of person who sees a deadline through to the end, regardless of the clock.
Who You Are
* Kotlin Expert (Must Have): 3+ years of professional experience. Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.
* Cloud & Architecture (Must Have): Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and a solid grasp of system architecture (designing APIs, selecting databases, and high-level system flow). While you don't need to be a principal architect, you must be comfortable designing the \"skeleton\" of a project.
* Ownership Mindset: You understand that in a startup, \"done\" means deployed and working. You are reliable and reachable when the stakes are high.
* Polyglot & Ambitious: You are fearless about swapping to Python, Go, or other technologies. You are a strong \"Mid\" or \"Senior-lite\" ready to lead.
