Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at our residential home. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering person-centred care through meaningful engagement with residents.
As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of activities, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis, tailored to the individual needs and preferences of our residents. Your role will include organising themed days, social events, and daily activities that promote well-being, independence, and enjoyment.
You will also take the time to build strong relationships with residents, understanding their life histories, interests, and abilities to create activity plans that support a fulfilling and enriched lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead group and individual activities that are engaging and inclusive
* Organise themed days, seasonal events, and celebrations
* Spend meaningful time with residents to understand their personal interests and needs
* Create and maintain person-centred activity plans
* Work closely with care and support teams to ensure activities complement overall care plans
* Evaluate and adapt activity programmes based on feedback and participation

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.41-£12.50 per hour
