Salary\: Up to £65,500 Dependent on skills & experience
What you'll be doing:
* Hold budget responsibility for the full contract value – expected at circa £10m
* Take responsibility for project/programme delivery
* Monitor and report project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives.
* Establish and maintain considerable customer and supplier relationships maintaining regular communications and managing expectations
* Adapts own project plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
* Accountable to deliver project against the company assurance framework
* Lead and manage the project delivery team across a matrix organisation
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Project Management (tools, techniques, practices)
* Experience of working with multi-disciplined teams in a matrix environment
* Professional PM Qualification or practical experience gained through application of Project Management
Desirable:
* Developed communication and diplomacy skills - Able to persuade and influence internal & external stakeholders
* Demonstrates basic awareness of commercial practices within own project area

The Combat Systems Capability Insertion Team:
You will join a multi -disciplined team across a matrix organisation and lead the project to integrate a sensor and processing product into the Type 26 (T26), with an anticipated contract value of circa £10m.
This project delivers a product to support the UK Royal Navy Type 26 frigate. This will be a complex project managing multiple stakeholders and owning the capability requirement and project outcome.
