Location: Salford

Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Fixed Term – 1 Year
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

GSL Education Manchester is excited to be working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Salford to recruit a committed and creative Teacher of English for a full-time position starting in September 2025.
About the Role:
You’ll be joining a thriving English department known for its collaborative culture and strong academic outcomes. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum
Use formative and summative assessments to track and support pupil progress
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support extra-curricular activities, literacy development, and school-wide initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
Excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to curriculum delivery
A passion for literature, language, and inspiring young minds
A team player committed to school life and continuous improvement
