SHEET METAL CAD DESIGNER We are seeking a talented Sheet Metal CAD Designer to join our growing engineering and manufacturing team. If you have strong CAD skills and a passion for turning ideas into precise, manufacturable sheet metal components, we want to hear from you! 🔧 Key Responsibilities * Create detailed 2D/3D sheet metal designs, drawings, and models * Develop flat patterns, bend details, and fabrication-ready documentation * Work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure manufacturability * Update and revise existing drawings to meet customer or process changes * Maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards 📐 Requirements * Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar) * Hands-on experience with sheet metal design, fabrication principles, and tolerances * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus 💼 What We Offer * Competitive pay £35-40K per annum * Supportive team environment * Stable, long-term position with a reputable company THE HOURS: Day shift Monday – Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm / Friday 7.30am-12.30pm Questech Recruitment is a specialist engineering support within the Mechanical & Engineering industry, our fo...
