Overview
Traffic Office Administrator – Belfast Vehicle Operating Centre, BT36 4HQ. Permanent contract, 40 hours per week, 3.5 days across Mon-Sun, hours between 18:30 and 07:00.
Join Royal Mail and contribute to a safe, efficient and cost-effective fleet by supporting daily operations and driver de-briefs, maintaining system data and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
Responsibilities
* Keep the Distribution Management System up to date and ensure data is correctly input daily; de-brief all drivers at the end of their duty.
* Maintain Isotrak, Business Asset Tracker and Vision FTA to record HGV drivers’ hours and ensure compliance with European legislation.
* Issue vehicle keys and logbooks in line with Royal Mail standards.
* Download digital tachograph cards in line with policy.
* Conduct daily driver debriefs; escalate unresolved issues to the shift manager.
* Ensure planned maintenance is carried out for vehicles and keep maintenance boards and vehicle files up to date.
* Carry out additional admin duties as required.
