Our client are a UK based zero emissions power generation business looking for a remote based Senior Electrical Engineer join the team and strengthen the engineering capabilities across their hydrogen production and customer power generation (HPU) activities. You’ll join an innovative and rapidly growing company, working to realise significant commercial decarbonisation at scale using zero emission fuels.
Responsibilities:
* Read and understand technical specifications and customers requirements
* Develop and review design packages for electrical systems and equipment (e.g Power and Distribution Transformers, generators, hv / lv switchgear / Motor Control Centre, distribution networks, control equipment, power outlets) including drawings, detail scope of work, calculations, Bill of Materials
* Develop and review electrical and project documentation
* Carry out detailed site surveys
Qualifications
* Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, preferably Chartered with IET / IEEE (1st class desirable)
* Significant experience in Electrical Engineering within process systems (O&G, Energy, Petrochem)
* Experience with Autodesk / AutoCAD preferable
* Competency in reading and understanding technical drawings
