Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in busy kitchen environments. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
* Assist in meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and occasional dinner services
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
* Monitor wastage
* Ensure all food is stored correctly and safely
* Support team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of ingredients and equipment
* Serve food to customers when required, providing excellent customer service
Requirements
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
* Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
* Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality settings is highly desirable
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in presentation and hygiene standards
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if necessary
* A genuine passion for food and creating memorable dining experiences

Pay: Up to £13.20 per hour
