We are working exclusively with a fantastic manufacturingpany based in Stoke-on-Trent, who are looking for a fully qualified Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Your new role will include but not be limited to:
1. Oversee thepletion of monthly financial results, ensuringpliance with statutory requirements as well as group and internal policies.
2. Lead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members.
3. Act as the primary liaison for both internal and external audit teams.
4. Contribute to the planning cycle by supporting budget creation and financial forecasting activities.
5. Manage cash flow, including short‑term monitoring and longer‑term projections.
6. Review and refine financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and overall quality of reporting.
7. Produce and deliver financial insights and reports for senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
8. Take responsibility for VAT submissions and relatedpliance requirements.
9. Develop financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatorypliance
10. Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements
11. Collaborate with other departments to implement financial strategy and optimise business performance
What you'll need to succeed
12. Fully qualified ACCA/ CIMA
13. Ability to work at a fast pace in a busy manufacturing environment
14. Experience in month‑end reporting, statutorypliance, VAT, and audit liaison.
15. Strong leadership skills with management of AP/AR teams.
16. Ability to streamline financial processes and improve reporting.
17. Clearmunicator able to present insights to senior leaders.
