Location
Some areas this employer covers include Maidenhead, Henley-on-Thames, Twyford, Wallingford, and surrounding areas of Berkshire & South Oxfordshire.
Pay rates, hours & benefits
* £120-150 per day plus pension scheme, paid holidays, and Employee Assistance programme.
* £45 meal contribution each week
* Shifts – varied based on client needs
* Each assignment will provide you a comfortable bedroom with reasonable amenities
* The areas we cover have some lovely countryside, beautiful market towns and villages, close to the river Thames yet still easily accessible to London
Job Role
Becoming a Live-In Care Professionals is such a rewarding job within your community. You will support our clients in their own homes and carry out a variety of duties; no two days will be the same. This may include: -
* Helping someone get out of bed, washed/showered, dressed and other elements of personal care.
* Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
* Medication administration
* Helping with light housework, laundry, vacuuming, ironing, or a spot of gardening
* Helping with grocery shopping.
* Being a listening ear and to treat them with the respect and dignity everyone deserves.
Qualifications
What experience and skills are required?
* Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
* Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs to your own and who may have a range of medical conditions. Commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
* Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable.
* This role will require you to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
* Class 1 business insurance (if using own car for business purposes) or reliable transport.
* Above all, you will have an empathetic nature and a real passion to make a difference in the life of an older person.
* Previous experience in supporting individuals with dementia is preferred, including providing companionship, managing behavioral changes, and assisting with daily living activities.
* Experience in moving and handling stroke patients preferred.

Additional Information
As a Live In Care Professionals, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
