Bradley David Associates is looking for an Airfreight Export Assistant to join our client's team in Bradford.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordination of air export department
2. Day-to-day responsibility for customer service delivery to air export customers and agents
3. Follow-up and resolution of operational issues and customer service concerns raised by customers
4. Responsibility for invoicing and profitability
5. Responsibility for customs compliance
6. Processing HMRC queries through to resolution and closure, minimizing duty/tax liability
7. Internal customs audits, assessments, and data analysis
8. Ensure all HMRC export and import entry regulations are met through self-auditing
9. Ensure accuracy of export and import entry declarations through self-auditing
10. Use systems to produce and issue monthly client reports (ASM / Boxtop)
Requirements
* Experience working within freight forwarding
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* HMRC export customs procedural knowledge
Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. 30-minute lunch. 25 days holiday. 2x bonus.
