* Job title: QC Microbiology Technologist
* Location: Slough
* Contract Length: 12 months
* Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week
* Pay Rate: £13.57
What you will do:
* Carry out microbiological testing to support product qualifications, routine testing and environmental monitoring.
* Record and document results in line with all GMP and cGMP requirements.
* Review data, identify concerns and communicate issues to QC management.
* Maintain laboratory standards through housekeeping, equipment care and inventory checks.
* Support media, reagent and method qualification activities.
* Follow all relevant safety procedures when performing laboratory tasks.
* Keep GMP training up to date and complete required learning on time.
What we are looking for:
* BSc in a life science discipline or equivalent experience.
* Practical experience in microbiological techniques.
* Clear understanding of good documentation practices.
* Ability to assess results, spot anomalies and escalate concerns.
* Experience with routine laboratory maintenance and inventory control.
* Strong awareness of safety and GMP expectations.
