The Governing Body of Coety Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate, committed, and forward-thinking Assistant Headteacher on secondment, with a strong focus on Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Inclusion. Candidate Requirements
* Exceptional classroom practitioner with experience across the primary phase
* Proven track record of driving school improvement, particularly in ALN and inclusive practice
* Passionate about equity, wellbeing, and enabling all pupils to succeed, including those with additional learning needs
* Confident in leading self-evaluation, action planning, and whole-school development
* Strong understanding of the Welsh ALN Reform and ability to guide staff through implementation
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate
* Flexible, enthusiastic, and reflective, always seeking improvement
* Ability to work closely with the Headteacher, SLT, and Governors to drive strategic priorities
* Aspiring deputy headteacher eager to grow and gain experience in a high-performing, inclusive school
