Supporting a young adult with all aspects of personal care and daily living. Accessing the community and clubs that are of my interest. I enjoy music, cooking and going for walks. Supporting me to attend university, where I am currently studying philosophy. Assisting me with breaks in the UK.
About the employer:
This is direct employment by the young adult.
Main duties:
Social duties: for example, support to:
* Attending university
* Socialise with family and friends
* Attending weekend clubs
* Attend medical appointments
* Support with a rehabilitation programme
* Access the community and trips of the individuals' interests like swimming, shopping and restaurants.
Personal care: assisting with personal care needs and promoting independence, performing exercises/physiotherapy.
Domestic duties: include supporting the cooking and serving of nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, and laundry. Food shopping and meal planning.
These duties will vary each shift.
