We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Executive Director of Finance — a senior leader responsible for shaping the council’s financial strategy and ensuring robust governance. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver high-level, confidential PA support to the Executive Director of Finance. Manage complex diaries, correspondence, and meeting schedules with senior stakeholders, including Cabinet Members and external partners. Coordinate key meetings and boards, ensuring smooth delivery and accurate documentation. Act as a trusted first point of contact, handling sensitive information ensuring smooth communication and professional representation. Support the delivery of major programmes, including financial sustainability and transformation initiatives. What You’ll Bring Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure. Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with confidence in engaging senior leaders. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to anticipate needs. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word). Experience providing PA support in a fast-paced complex organisation.
