Lawyer – Offshore Wind (UK)
A major offshore wind project in the UK is seeking an experienced Lead EPC Lawyer to join its commercial team during a pivotal development phase. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in delivering a large-scale renewable energy project that will power over a million homes.
The Opportunity
You’ll act as the legal lead for a major EPC package, shaping procurement strategy, negotiating complex construction and service agreements, and advising senior stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and management functions. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative, multidisciplinary project environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead drafting and negotiation of EPC-related supply and installation agreements
* Advise on legal and contractual matters across engineering, procurement, and commercial teams
* Support procurement strategy, tender processes, and contract awards
* Identify and manage legal and commercial risks
* Collaborate with external counsel and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to senior-level decision-making and project governance
About You
* Qualified lawyer with 6years experience (private practice and/or in-house)
* Strong experience in major construction / infrastructure / energy projects under English law
* Proven track record negotiating complex EPC or service agreements
* Familiarity with contract standards (e.g. FIDIC, NEC, LOGIC, BIMCO)
* Experience in offshore wind and/or project finance is highly desirable
* Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and confident working autonomously
