Joina leading independent technology and services provider as a technician 3.Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced DesktopDeployment Engineer to support the Windows 11 Refresh program. The role willplay a key part in the end-to-end device lifecycle, including building, deploying, refreshing,and decommissioning devices across the enterprise. Theideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with large-scale Windows OS rollout projects and end-usercomputing environments.
* Location: Raynesway - Derby
* Contract: 1 Month
* Pay Rate: A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.85/hr PAYE OR £25.75/hr (umbrella company)
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the RR Windows 11 Refresh initiative across corporate devices
* Build, image, and configure laptops and desktops to enterprise standards
* Perform Windows 11 deployments and refreshes using approved tools and processes
* Support large-scale rollouts, including pilot and production deployments
* Decommission legacy devices in line with asset and security policies
* Troubleshoot deployment, imaging, and user issues during rollout phases
* Work closely with End User Computing, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams
* Maintain accurate documentation and deployment records
* Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and configuration standards
Mandatory / Must-have Requirements
* Active SC (Security Clearance) - candidates must already hold a valid SC clearance or should be eligible for it.
* No dual nationality
