Interaction Education are really pleased to be supporting one of our partner schools in their search for a Caretaker on a 12 week temp to perm contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the school site is clean, safe, and secure at all times
Carry out basic repairs, maintenance, and DIY tasks
Open and close the school premises as required
Monitor heating, lighting, and other utilities
Liaise with contractors and report larger maintenance issues
Support with setting up rooms and equipment for school events
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Person Specification:
Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role preferred
Basic DIY and repair skills
Good communication and organisational skills
Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
