Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role based in Chester, with remote site work across the UK. As a LOLER Inspector & Service Technician, you will:
• Work as part of a team, but also lone working will be required on occassion.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, testing, and certification of rigging equipment to ensure LOLER compliance
• Identify equipment requiring repair or replacement
• Coordinate with suppliers to source parts
• Fault finding
• Perform minor repairs
• Maintain accurate service records
• Ensure high safety standards in all operations
Qualifications
• Proficiency in equipment inspection, evaluation, and certification under LOLER
• Ability to identify repairs and source replacement equipment
• Technical skills for basic repairs and troubleshooting
• Strong organisational and record‑keeping skills
• Excellent communication skills; able to work on‑site and remotely
• Valid UK Full driving licence (6 points maximum) and willingness to travel and stay away from home
• Experience in rigging inspection or the entertainment/events industry (advantageous)
• Relevant rigging or health & safety certifications (advantageous)
• IPAF/PASMA and FLT license would be an advantage but not essential as training will be offered to the right candidate
