Job Description
CDL have been supplying logistic companies for over 20 years. We are looking for HGV 2 drivers to cover ad-hoc contracts in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include:
completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
providing a professional service, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently
completing relevant paperwork for deliveries/collections
navigating busy roads to optimise timely deliveries
unloading the vehicle at delivery locations if required
working confidently on multi-drop routes with deliveries and collections
Candidates must have:
- a valid, full category C licence
- a valid CPC card and digital tachograph card
- ability and willingness to load and unload when required
- good communication skills
- attention to detail and time management skills
- confidence with multi-drop routes
Candidates must present themselves in a professional manner, have a positive attitude towards work and be able to work with time-sensitive deliveries/collections.
