Role Description
Project Quantity Surveyor responsible for managing projects between £5 million and £10 million. Candidates may be assistants looking to step up to Project Quantity Surveyor. Experience ideally with a main building contractor is required. Responsibilities include procurement, sub‑contractor management, cost control and preparation of budgets. The company works on a variety of schemes – residential, industrial and commercial new builds and extensions, including a £10 million industrial new build project.
Responsibilities
* Attend site and progress meetings as required by the client.
* Prepare periodic cost reports in agreed format at specified times.
* Take bills of quantities and use up to date computerised estimating software.
* Prepare contract documents.
* Monitor development completion requirements.
Minimum Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
* Prepare, negotiate and issue final accounts and final statements.
