A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield. Permanent opportunity - no agency time involved Days only - 7:30AM- 4:00PM with a 1230 finish on a Friday Salary - Basic Salary up to £40,000 plus shift allowance of £6-8000 per annum Hours: (Apply online only)/ (Apply online only) rotating 2 weekly Monday - Friday Based in an heavy engineering environment, our client are a leading manufacturer of air rifle rounds and pellets for competitive shooting. Key Responsibilities: • Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) • Fault Finding and Repair of mechanical systems • Implementing preventative maintenance programs • Coordinating with production shift management to schedule maintenance activities • Maintaining accurate maintenance records • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards • Fault finding on electrical systems • Repairing faulty and broken down machinery • Supporting on projects within the department and the wider business as needed Knowledge, Skills & Experience: • Relevant qualifications within a mechanical background • Proven work experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) • Knowledge of Mechanical and Hydraulic/ Pneumatic systems • Knowledge of Welding, Hydraulic/ Pneumatic Systems, Milling/Turning etc would be beneficial • Ability to read simple drawings • Troubleshooting skills • Flexible approach to work with the attitude to want to learn and grow with the business, this would include overtime and weekends if required If this sounds like the next step in your Maintenance career, please apply and a consultant will contact you to discuss the next steps
