Senior Solicitor– Highly competitive Salary + Extensive Holiday allowance + Flexible working + laptop & Phone
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset. We are currently seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our team specialising in Agriculture. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track record in dealing with complex estate administration, will trusts, and related matters.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle complex estate administration cases, including those involving agricultural and business elements and significant financial investments.
2. Advise clients on will trusts as part of the estate administration process.
3. Draft and review Deeds of Appointment and Variation with an estate administration focus.
4. Provide legal advice on all aspects of agricultural law, including land acquisitions, tenancy agreements, and farm business structures.
5. Conduct legal research and stay up to date with changes in legislation related to agriculture and estate administration.
6. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and successful case outcomes.
Candidate needs:
7. Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in agricultural law and estate administration.
8. Proven track record in handling complex estate administration cases, preferably involving agricultural and business elements and significant financial investments.
9. Strong knowledge of will trusts and their role in the estate administration process.
10. Experience drafting Deeds of Appointment and Variation with an estate administration focus.
11. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
12. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
