Business Analyst (Public Sector)

Role Overview:
* Location: Central London/Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
* Package: £55,000- £68,000pa & benefits
* Industry: Public Sector Consulting
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Analyse business problems and opportunities, delivering actionable solutions using Agile/SAFe methodology
* Challenge and refine business requirements through strong influencing and negotiation skills
* Work closely with client SMEs, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure viable, benefits-focused solutions
* Support change management by assessing readiness and impacts on people, processes, and systems
* Apply data insights to inform process and solution design
* Manage BA and project activities, including risks, issues, deliverables, and planning
* Contribute to practice growth by building client relationships and supporting development initiatives
Main Skills Needed:
* Minimum of 3 years working in the UK Public Sector directly or via a Consultancy.
* Eligibility for Security Clearance is required, due to the nature of projects.
* Strong analytical techniques: business requirements documentation, process and data modelling, GAP/SWOT analysis, cost/benefit analysis, traceability matrix, stakeholder mapping
* Experience with product lifecycle management, data projects, and large-scale IT transformations
* Familiarity with GDS delivery methods: Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live
* Agile knowledge (preferably SAFe/Scrum)
* Excellent stakeholder management across complex client environments
* Core consulting skills: communication, presentation, facilitation
* Organisational and planning capabilities
