Job Description:
Propsource Consulting are working with a well-known worldwide multi-disciplinary consultancy who are currently seeking a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor to join the team in their Manchester or Leeds office.
Working closely alongside directors and other team members, you will be providing professional advice to clients across a range of multi-discipline commercial projects.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will lead on the following:
* Managing tasks and deliverables alongside the client and wider project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the projects
* Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives
* Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget
* Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner
* Collaborating with teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPI's and objectives including programme performance, cost control and value engineering
* Ensuring all final accounts are negotiated and agreed
* Ensuring projects comply with applicable statutory and regulatory legislation
* Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality standards ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Ideal Candidate
* MRICS desired but not essential
* Previous consultancy Quantity Surveying experience
* Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
* Can come from a Project Management or Quantity Surveying background
* Strong leadership and commercial skills
