Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: Up to £40,000
Looking for your next challenge in creative Project Management?
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Project Manager to take full ownership of large-scale, creative exhibition and live event projects — from the moment an order is received through to successful on-site delivery. If you thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing role where no two days are the same, this could be your perfect next step.
About the Role:
As the client’s key point of contact post-sale, you’ll oversee every detail of the production process. You’ll be responsible for technical specification, budget and timeline management, supplier coordination, and legal compliance — all while ensuring exceptional service and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the end-to-end delivery of exhibition stand projects from order to on-site handover
* Define and manage technical specifications and produce clear build instructions
* Coordinate all aspects of manufacturing and supply chain, including third-party show services
* Monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects run efficiently
* Handle client amends and challenges quickly and professionally
* Maintain accurate records across CRM, ERP and internal systems
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage future business
* Ensure projects meet legal and compliance standards, including health & safety policies
* Attend internal and external meetings as required
* Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold quality standards such as ISO 9001
Who You Are:
* A proven project manager with a strong track record in delivery
* Commercially astute and confident managing budgets and client expectations
* Calm under pressure, with sound judgment and decision-making ability
* An excellent communicator and negotiator, able to build rapport quickly
* Highly organised with great attention to detail and time management skills
* IT literate with a working knowledge of AutoCAD or Vectorworks
* Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
* Proactive and self-driven, with a customer-first mindset
* Holds a full UK driving licence and a valid passport
Desirable:
* PRINCE2 or other formal project management qualification
* Relevant experience in exhibitions, events or creative production industries
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience
What You’ll Get:
* The chance to manage exciting, high-profile projects for diverse clients
* Opportunities to travel and work on-site at live events
* A competitive salary and benefits package
