Position: ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95-£115 per day (DOE)
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, patient and emotionally intelligent ASC Specialist TA to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition. Many pupils experience sensory sensitivities, anxiety around transitions, and communication differences. You will play a key role in helping them feel safe, regulated and understood.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASC
* Use structured routines, visual aids and clear communication
* Support sensory regulation and reduce anxiety triggers
* Build positive, trusting relationships to encourage engagement
* Work closely with teachers, SENCO and therapy teams
What We're Looking For
* Experience supporting children with ASC or additional needs
* Calm, patient approach with strong emotional intelligence
* Understanding of sensory needs and communication differences
* Ability to use proactive and positive support strategies
