What you will do
* Conduct Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory requirements and local procedures.
* Manage cases across Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) pathways.
* Undertake Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries as required.
* Develop, implement, and review CIN and CP plans to ensure robust safeguarding.
* Complete risk assessments and design intervention plans that support child welfare and family resilience.
* Work closely with professionals from education, health, police, and partner agencies.
* Prepare detailed reports for conferences, reviews, and court where necessary.
* Contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and multi‑agency planning forums.
* Maintain accurate, timely case records in accordance with statutory and organisational standards.
* Apply strengths‑based, child‑centred practice and ensure children's voices inform all planning and decisions.
