We are partnering with a highly regarded and established professional services firm, to recruit a Senior Reinstatement Cost Assessments Surveyor.

The Role
This is a diverse and dynamic position where no two weeks look the same. You'll be undertaking reinstatement cost assessments (RCAs) across a wide spectrum of industries and property types.
From city centre hotels and research laboratories to large-scale industrial plants and manufacturing facilities, you'll gain exposure to complex and varied assets, continually expanding your expertise.
Key responsibilities will include:
6. Conducting desktop and on-site reinstatement cost assessments
7. Researching and analysing construction and asset costs
8. Producing detailed, client-ready reports
9. Reviewing work completed by other surveyors
10. Providing technical insight and guidance to clients
11. Supporting the development of innovative valuation solutions
12. Maintaining and inputting accurate cost data into internal systems
This is a client-facing role with regular UK travel and occasional international opportunities.
About You
Essential:
13. Background as a Valuation Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor
14. MRICS qualified (or equivalent) preferred
15. Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience
16. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers
17. Experience (or exposure) to commercial and industrial property assessments
Desirable:
18. Experience with Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs)
19. Knowledge of plant valuation
20. Strong data handling and analytical capabilities
