The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary. In this role you will be working on diverse and challenging projects with our Fall Protection department and on-site technicians to develop and maintain access solutions for the UK skyline. You will be based in the Grantham design office but will also be required to work on site occasionally, as well as in our own manufacturing facility and the facilities of our suppliers. Carrying out site-based reviews of existing Fall Protection Systems. You will take control of individual projects and see them through to completion through the design process. Verifying structural integrity of designed components. Develop and maintain compliant inspection regimes for existing and new installations. Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and customers when necessary. Preparing detailed technical reports in line with requirements from current British Standards Maintaining and updating existing library of 2D drawings/technical data. Liaising with architects and design/project managers and providing them with necessary information. Our ideal Graduate Design Engineer will have the below skills and experience: Qualification requirements Bachelors Degree in structural or mechanical engineering (or similar) At least one work placement experience (preferably in construction/engineering Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD LT and SolidWorks preferred) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
