Recruit with purpose are supporting a wonderful housing association in East Yorkshire who are looking for a PMO manager to come in and join the team ready for the new financial year.
As PMO Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Planning, Performance and Risk to oversee the portfolio of operational projects. You will support delivery of this housing associations strategies by ensuring a consistent approach to project management, change, monitoring and reporting.
You will provide organisation-wide support to projects and programmes, particularly in set‑up, measurement, reporting and capturing lessons learned.
The role leads and continuously improves the project management framework, delivering training to promote consistency and best practice. As a central point of contact, you will track projects and benefits, and develop effective data collection and reporting frameworks aligned to business and strategic plans.
What you will be responsible for in this role:
* Partner with the Head of Planning, Performance and Risk to deliver and report on the agreed portfolio of operational projects.
* Improve organisational processes for project development, monitoring and reporting to trustees, directors and the Programme Board, providing clear guidance to enable delivery.
* Support the identification, reporting and management of project risks.
* Contribute to the planning and budgeting cycle, ensuring strong alignment between both processes.
* Provide consolidated oversight to the Projects Programme Board, ensuring projects are scheduled, resourced and delivered on time, within budget and aligned to strategic outcomes.
* Oversee project managers’ performance against KPIs to ensure delivery of intended strategic benefits.
