CNC Turner – Day Shift
Location: Braintree, Essex
Contract: Full Time
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator/setter to join our Turning department based at our site in Braintree working the day shift.
Responsibilities
* Setting and operating Fixed Head CNC Turning machines, installing programmes and proofing with the tools list and work instructions, producing a valid first‑off component.
* Loading and operating machines to meet desired quantities.
* Conducting in‑process inspection, checking against drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and high‑standard production.
Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum 3 years previous experience in setting and operating CNC lathes.
* Experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and tolerances.
* Proficiency in a range of measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
* Ability to work productively independently and as part of a team.
Hours of Work
Mon – Thu 8:30am to 5pm; Friday 8:30am to 4pm (39 hours per week). Working hours can be confirmed at interview.
Additional hours at overtime rate available to suit business demands.
