At least 5 years of experience in a senior technology leadership capacity (such as Head of Technology or Director of Digital Strategy), ideally within the energy or telecommunications sectors, with a proven track record of engaging directly with customers and addressing their business needs.

Demonstrated capability to lead governance forums or technical steering groups, effectively evaluating technology choices and setting priorities while incorporating feedback from both customers and architects. Must also balance operational demands and modernization of legacy systems.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior figures across the industry who may hold differing priorities or viewpoints, ensuring fair and collaborative outcomes.
Extensive experience managing the delivery of technology-based products and services, ideally in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and business matters clearly and effectively.
A robust technical background, with awareness of innovative and emerging technologies and their strategic relevance to areas such as smart metering.
