The Vacancy
My client is looking for an experienced Head of Estates and Projects Manager to join their Senior Management Team, as it undergoes a significant step-change in service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join their team to lead and manage ongoing construction projects, taking responsibility for ensuring the safety of estates and efficiently delivering capital and revenue projects on time and on budget.
This position will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations for our FM, Housekeeping, Hospitality and Kitchen teams to ensure that they regularly have access to senior support on site as well as take a leadership role in the building works currently planned.
Requirements:
We are seeking a hospital engineering specialist with strong project engineering experience, ideally from a healthcare construction background. The ability to take projects from late-stage design through to completion and handover is critical.
* Professional qualification in either Construction, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
* Experience of working within a healthcare setting is essential.
* With plans underway to improve the physical facility, experience in managing projects whilst demonstrating day-to-day overall responsibility for services is required.
* The ability to liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders, meet deadlines and understand the wider implications and impact of projects is essential.
* PRINCE2 is desirable, but not essential.
* This post will also be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of projects associated with the development of the site and functions.
Full-time 37.5 hours
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
